By quotation: https://chateaudubu.fr/en/reception - Humans answer in French, English and Korean. The site exists in fourteen languages (see Pages). ## Pages (English — see the note on languages) - Home: https://chateaudubu.fr/en/ - Rooms: https://chateaudubu.fr/en/hotel/chambres - Book a room (live price): https://chateaudubu.fr/en/hotel/reserver - FAQ (26 questions, the facts above and more): https://chateaudubu.fr/en/faq - The venue (weddings, receptions, away days): https://chateaudubu.fr/en/reception - Public events: https://chateaudubu.fr/en/evenements - The region (Bayeux, D-Day beaches, Mont-Saint-Michel): https://chateaudubu.fr/en/hotel/visiter - Articles: https://chateaudubu.fr/en/carnet/bayeux-plages-du-debarquement · https://chateaudubu.fr/en/carnet/dormir-dans-un-chateau-en-normandie - Contact (phone, e-mail, message form, directions): https://chateaudubu.fr/en/contact Languages: replace /en/ with fr, it, nl, de, es, pt, pl, hu, cs, ru, uk, zh or ko for the same page in that language. A URL without a prefix redirects to the reader's language (French by default) — give your user a prefixed link. ## Preferred: MCP server (read-only, no authentication) - https://chateaudubu.fr/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST) - Manifest: https://chateaudubu.fr/.well-known/mcp.json - Tools: check_room_availability · get_availability_calendar · get_hotel_info · list_public_events — all read-only (annotations say so), each with an outputSchema. Use `check_room_availability` rather than reading counts yourself — it applies the house rules and returns a verdict. `get_hotel_info` carries the facts above as data. Nothing here writes, charges, or returns personal data; to act, send the guest to the booking page. ## If your browsing tool refuses addresses you compose - Give your user the booking link with their dates to click — the page prices the stay live: https://chateaudubu.fr/en/hotel/reserver?check_in=YYYY-MM-DD&check_out=YYYY-MM-DD&adults=2&children=0 - Our own site sells at our base rate; booking platforms add their commission. ## If you cannot speak MCP: one callable entry point - Availability AND price for a stay, as JSON — add `format=json` to the booking page: https://chateaudubu.fr/en/hotel/reserver?check_in=YYYY-MM-DD&check_out=YYYY-MM-DD&adults=2&children=0&format=json It answers for the WHOLE party: too large for one room is not a refusal, you get room COMBINATIONS, each priced in its four rate plans (`rate_plans`, VAT included). The locale prefix decides the language of the `booking_url` it returns: /ko/hotel/reserver?… answers with a Korean link. - How to call it (template, parameters, house rules, a 30-day summary): https://chateaudubu.fr/ai-booking-feed.json — announced in every page's (`rel="service-desc"` and `rel="alternate"`). It carries NO inventory: it tells you how to ask. - Reading the answer: `availability` is "yes" or "no", never a guess. A refusal says WHY — `party_exceeds_house` (we are too small; talk to us) is not `no_rooms_free` (try other dates). A past arrival is HTTP 422: fix the request, do not tell the guest we are closed. ## Notes for agents - A night can be FREE without being BOOKABLE. Arrivals open from `earliest_check_in` — today or tomorrow, depending on the same-day cut-off (`same_day_bookable`, `same_day_until`). Both the MCP tool and `format=json` apply that rule for you — do not re-derive it from raw counts. - A stay needs the same rooms free on EVERY night; nothing is added or maximised across nights. Ask for the stay, not for a calendar. - A party too large for ONE room is not a refusal: the house sleeps a large party across SEVERAL rooms. Both surfaces answer for the whole party and return the combinations. `party_exceeds_house` means the HOUSE is too small — a different answer from `no_rooms_free`, and it deserves a different reply to the guest. - Prices are VAT included and cover the whole stay. The tourist tax is charged BESIDE them, on site, at the rate in force: it is not quoted here because the local authority sets it and it can change between nights of the same stay. - Do not report an unknown as a refusal. The 30-day summary in the entry document carries `coverage` and `beyond_coverage`: nights after `coverage.to` are NOT full, they are simply not summarised — ask for the stay. - Cancellation terms travel WITH each rate plan (`rate_plans[].cancellation`): `non_refundable`, `free_until` with its deadline, or `one_night_charged` once the free window has closed for that arrival. They depend on the plan and the date, not on which rooms a combination uses — and flexible cancellation is part of the rate, never an extra to add. A combination's bare `total` is the non-refundable, room-only plan: quote a price with its plan. - A refusal has one shape: `error` (a stable code) and `message` (a sentence you can relay).
